So absorbed are we in the colours and lighting that to forget the concept of ~paintedpoppy's Medusa II comes easily indeed. It is fantastic how the halo of hair is similar to that of Medusa, a Gorgon of Greek mythology. In the present day, no doubt some of us would turn to (near) stone as we gaze on in awe, not only at this beautiful woman, but at the photograph overall.

Life sized Gourd Baby Elephant by *ART-fromthe-HEART is a very realistic sculpture in real scale that took months to finish, it involved a crazy amount of supplies and it was all made for a good cause. The WIP photos are very impressive as well and they give a better idea of all the work and time invested.

Urban beautification at it's best! A lot of street art is about taking a run down and decaying environment and adding something to make it more pleasing to the eye. This piece of artwork certainly achieves that, with it's clever choice of colours that blend in with it's local so well.
